IBridge Agri : Aquaculture a new dimension of fishing

Hi Friends, we are back with our new blog, this time, the time gap is little high and we will try to have better frequency of our bogs now on.

In our previous two blogs we met two wonderful innovations in agriculture, today we will meet another very useful innovation but not from agriculture.

As we all know, agriculture is very important part of our life. However, there is one more important part, which is equally important i.e. Aquaculture. Aquaculture means aquatic farming.

Traditionally all over the world the fishing activity is done in wild water and there is no efforts paid to cultivation of these aquatic animals or aquatic plants. However, there has been a good amount of change happening where controlled efforts are made to do aqua-farming where aquatic animals or aquatic plants are cultivated under controlled environment. All efforts are made to have good quality of catch.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), aquaculture "is understood to mean the farming of aquatic organisms including fish, molluscs, crustaceans and aquatic plants. Farming implies some form of intervention in the rearing process to enhance production, such as regular stocking, feeding, protection from predators, etc. Farming also implies individual or corporate ownership of the stock being cultivated

According to UN Food and Agriculture Organization, by 2030, fish farming will dominate the fish supplies. In this context when we were researching, we came across very unique product range of Eruvaka.
