Increased soil fertility and increased output with BIOSAT. 

Hi Friends, trust you all are doing well. We recently embarked on the journey of empowering agriculture by way of sharing of information. Earlier we shared information about ‘Barix Traps' which are helping our farmers to handle paste effectively without any chemicals.

Today we are going to share information about another innovative product in agriculture space, “Anulekh.” Anulekh is creating difference by helping in enhancing soil fertility and higher output reducing use of chemical fertilizers. Anulekh is active in the “Efficient Agriculture” space. Anulekh deals in a product called “BIOSAT” that reduces resource consumption and increases food production.

BIOSAT is based on “BIOCHAR”. Biochar is charcoal produced by burning biomass in slow and less oxygen environment. This concept was believed to be used by natives of Amazon rain forests region. The Amazon region are known to have extremely fertile soil. After lot of investigation and research by soil scientist, it was discovered that natives of that region burned up crop residue by some slow burning method (similar to burning in deep pits and covering pit with soil on top of burning crop residue). It produced product similar to charcoal which is known as Terra Peta. This Terra Peta was then mixed with topsoil which gave soil dark color and fertility. Today we call Terra Peta as “BIOCHAR”

Biochar is a natural soil amendment that increases the soil fertility over a period of time and increase in yield has been observed from 20% to 400%. Soil scientists have proved the following benefits of applying Biochar to soil

•          Increase in microbial activity 
•         Increase in water retention capacity of soil
•      Reduction in nutrient leaching
•      Better uptake of nutrients by roots
•       Increase in PH of acidic soils
•      Alters soil texture & structure 
•         Reduces the need for chemical fertilizers

Anulekh has developed its product called “BIOSAT” by innovating the process of producing BIOCHAR. BIOSAT stands for Biochar based Organic Soil amendment technology. BIOSAT is used in agriculture, landscaping, gardening. This has evidences of increasing farm output considerably.
